Please help
My baby is 6 weeks old she just crys every wakening minute she hardly sleeps sounds congested night time is horrendous when she passes wind it smells like the runs her nappies are green with yellow bits in she now has a rash on her face neck back and top of chest we are omeprzole and kendamil comfort should i change to goats milk? Does it sound like cmpa? I cant stop crying and not coping at all
Definitely sounds like what my daughter had with CMPA! If you’re breast feeding you can cut out dairy or get on a hypoallergenic formula (we’re on Alimentum) and of course consult your pediatrician! Babies with CMPA can still have reactions to goats milk. It took so much advocacy for my pediatrician to believe it was CMPA because she didn’t have blood in her stool, but I just went with it and cut out dairy and with in 2 weeks she was a different baby! Hang in there! You are doing a great job mama!
