Recommended Gel for Hair Type 2C 3A

So I love doing my son’s hair but I haven’t found a gel that is best for his hair! 😩 Also, Idk if with his hair type the styles I’m doing can last up to a week or if I should leave it in the 3-4 days that I am. I feel like if I had a good gel for his hair I would leave it in at least 5 days, but I don’t want to keep wasting money trying to find a good brand for his hair. Any recommendations??😂😁💞
