Have any of y'all been seeing the videos on tik Tok, where women are sharing how they looked or were before a relationship..verses how they were during the relationship ?? I thought I was ready to date again - but I'm scared..videos had me deeply reflecting foreal . I was in a relationship with a very toxic abusive narcissist who was jealous of me . And I can't afford to get into another .. Those videos are very sobering ..

Those sound like super toxic videos! I haven’t seen them. Everyone changes in a relationship, but I believe the right relationship will have you changing for the better 🩷 if you’re not ready to date again, no need to rush it! Date yourself and know your worth 🩷 wishing you all the best mama!

Yeah I saw that trend and it's so heartbreaking. I literally went back to find old photos of myself whenever I was in a draining relationship and couldn't believe it! I would say now that you have experienced it you know how to spot a narcissist much easier ( remember they can mask for a long time). Also myself personally, I have put my self love and self care in the forefront and it's been repelling them out immediately. Typically a narcissist will throw a back ended compliment ( ex: saying your bougie, or saying "must be nice" when you're just simply taking care of yourself). You just have to vet better this time around 💜

Yeah… I saw it a few days ago and had to close the app😭 I’ve been single and celibate since my 1st ultrasound- 3 years ago. I can honestly say I am at peace with never dating a man again. Amen🙌🏾
