You can support him by not treating him any different yeah he will need assistance with some things but be encouraging praise him when he does things set a schedule for him that he can interact with and stick to it.

So a level 1 is high functioning meaning he doesn't need much assistance when it come to fine motor talking etc. Level 2 is just a little support in the areas above and level 3 is nonverbal and needs so much assistance in the list above plus more. You can apply for ssi for him and if your state has it respite or dds and family support assistance where you can get 250 dollars to go towards his needs.
