Chicken pox TMI

I dunno if I’m allowed to ask these questions on here but my 2 year old has chicken pox, I’m using calamine lotion on her body but she has a lot on nappy area, what can I use to soothe the pain because I’ve googled and it says calamine is not suitable for that area. Are there any alternatives or should I not use anything at all..

For my daughter I used cooled chamomile tea. Unfortunately when girls get chicken pox they can get it EVERYWHERE including internally. You can use calamine lotion externally just not on mucus membranes or internally, I used sudocrem for any sores here and loose clothes If she’s potty training worth having her run around without nappy especially whilst weather is better, to let air get to the sores. I heard Poxclin is better than calamine lotion too but haven’t personally tried it as I hadn’t heard of it then

@Madeline ah okay thank you, she’s not potty trained yet😭 but I will have her in loose clothing for sure and also wdym by used cool chamomile tea? Did you apply to skin like a lotion or with cotton pads etc? Is it safe for the face?

Piriton is what the doctors told me

I also used calamine lotion on that area
