That is so wrong. I'm so sorry! The fact that he can even be attracted to someone his daughter's age is a huge red flag.

Is he happy? Are they happy? Do they seem to have a stable healthy relationship? I'm wondering if there's unhealthy aspects aside from people opinions in regards to the age gap.

@Bounette someone at least in their 30s marrying a barely 18 year old doesn't sit wrong with you? Because it really should.

@Layla Caron for real! So sick and tired of people normalizing huge age gaps especially with someone so young. A 70 year old and a 50 year old is one thing, they're both well into adulthood and there usually isn't such a disparity in control and mental aptitude. But there is no reason a grown adult should be dating someone barely 18 or even really under 30. Our brains aren't even done developing till about 25. So anything younger than that is just ridiculous and bordering pedophilia.

@Chloe exactly right!! A grown man that clearly saw i was a child playing at the park as every other young person was doing went abroad got married to someone my age. It is sickening. He has daughters and they bring there friends around him and I’m worried even though he’s never looked at them wrong. But what he’s done was disgusting marrying my age.

Ahhh even a bigger red flag that he went abroad to find a young wife honestly! It's a well known thing in places like Thailand that old white men go there to buy young brides. Your concerns and feelings are completely valid! As a survivor of CSA, I would never leave my kids alone with him and I would be watching him like a hawk even with other adults around.
