Honest opinion on a potential wedding dress

I showed one friend and she told me it was way too much but I really liked it

The dress is amazing and so are you! If you like it, that's all that matters. It's not your friend's wedding nor does she have to wear it.

I feel like it looks too open for a wedding, the cleavage area should be more covered.

I personally don’t think it’s good for a wedding but it’s a pretty dress! But it’s also not my wedding so it doesn’t matter! Lol

@Alexus Right it just doesn't give wedding vibes if it's not white, looks more like a prom dress or something else 😭

I think it looks really pretty on you, if that's what feels right then ignore your friend and wear that one

I love it. I would probably wear a white veil and bridal jewelry to make it more "bridal" but it's gorgeous.

@Cheyann I'm not sure the 'bride' is Christian/Catholic/White, so perhaps a white veil would be out of place.

Are you looking for a dress which would work for a particular culture or just something you like? The dress looks really good on you & fits so well. Not sure it's giving off bride though, but if you love it, go for it!

If you love it and you’d be excited to wear it, then I wouldn’t source other opinions. But if you have any doubts, I would look at other options. I made a very last minute change to my dress because I was feeling uncomfortable about it and it worked out but also sad it was so stressful, expensive and I didn’t get to enjoy the dress experience. For this dress, I think the sequins are a bit much when it’s already such a striking colour and it might not feel timeless when you look at photos
