There are some generic formulas that closely match the name brand. If you Google "formula similar alternative chart" you can see what I mean

It depends why your switching formulas. My daughter was really fussy on the similac formulas. We tried a couple similac ones and then switched to Enfamil Gentlease and she's been much happier. I'm on WIC and they provide our formula. I did have to get a prescription from her pediatrician for them to provide the Enfamil, but they don't require a prescription for similac. I was mainly watching for signs of discomfort because that's why we switched. She wasn't necessarily spitting up, but she would squirm in discomfort a lot. I would recommend talking to your baby's pediatrician for suggestions.

European brands are healthier. Pooping problems you could try goat milk target has the Kendamill one. They say to slowly switch but we just cold turkey that shit lol we use 360 similac he didn’t like enfamil.

I recommend when switching you do a little at a time. For example. When I switch I did 80% of the old formula with 20% of the new formula until my baby got used to that and then did 70/30, 60/40, 50/50, ect. I would do this every 3-4 days until totally switched.

I’m still breastfeeding and do some formula too we did kendamil goat he didn’t even fuss just drink it like normal
