You can get ring worm from playing in the yard or from pets/animals who are frequently outside
@Jackie does it look like ringworm to you? The pictures I’ve seen are more of a circle and dry. Whatever my son has looked blistered.
I think ringworm can start off looking like this and then spreads bigger into a ring and then the ring can get bigger and bigger
Looks to be eczema or psoriasis to me
Could be eczema or ringworm or something else - I literally just got home from the Dr because of a similar concern for my girl 😅 as long as it's not bothering him that's great! In my daughter's case they weren't 100% which one it was so they just started her on an antifungal cream 2x a day and if it's not starting to get better in a week then we'll switch to a hydrocortisone cream. Either way it's probably not a big deal - my daughter doesn't go to daycare either but she does interact with dogs 🤷♀️
@Julia thank you!
This looks more like eczema to me. I had ringworm a ton as a kid (we had a ton of barn cats and indoor/outdoor animals--think mini farm😂). They are usually more circular and red with an empty middle. These bumps look more clumped. If you have outdoor animals with fur, check near their ears and if they are balding with this red raised rash it's more than likely ringworm.
@Shay that’s what I said but my husband also said he has ring worm often as a kid and said it looks like this but I too saw circular patches online. We don’t have any pets as well so I have no idea what’s going on! Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get an answer from the doctor. Thanks ❤️
Also it isn’t bothering him. I just happened to notice it today. Anyone see something similar ?
