What to wear to bed

My boy has just a baby grow on with a very thin blanket although his baby grow is a holey one (the design not old) 🤣 as it gets colder throughout the evening I will switch his blanket to a thicker one x

Mine are still in a baby grow and 2.5 sleeping bags our room still drops to around 16 at night. Me and hubby still needed our quilt last night. We tried last night without the sleeping bag and just covering with a blanket when the temp dropped and it was a disaster

Mines just in a sleepsuit and his duvet. I've found that he sleeps so much better not being in a sleeping bag as he looks like he juat cant get comfy. I've bought him one that has legs so hopefully he will sleep better with that. My room is 21c atm and didn't drop last night. I was so hot!

Last 4 nights it’s just been a thin babygrow, no vest. I pull a wee blanket over him when the temp drops but last night it was over 20 all night so didn’t use it. It’s currently over 23 🥵 and I’m contemplating swapping his babygrow for a vest or getting the fan out.

My daughters room is showing as 25 degrees so she’s in a short sleeved vest and a 1.5 tog sleep bag

It’s over 23 degrees here and I’ve just popped him in a new 1 tog sleep suit with feet and a long sleeve vest. He went mad though until I freed his feet… he usually sleeps in a sack so could be an interesting night ahead …

1 tog sleeping bag and long sleeved vest, it’s 22 in our room currently but will drop over night

I’ve got her in a babygrow and her sleeping bag but it’s 2.5 tog and the rooms 21 but not sure if that’s too much x

@Casey I think 2.5tog in that temp is too much. Can you do just a vest if that's the only bag you have?

@Charley I can but she’s sound asleep, she’s in the same room as us still and I’m cold and got my big duvet on but I’m not sure aha

@Casey just check her chest or back and make sure she's not overheating.

@Casey I would personally think that’s ok, because it drops quite drastically (the temp) in our room at night x

@Casey if she’s sleeping soundly she might be fine. Definitely do the touch test to see her core temp though, and maybe back of the neck to see if it’s sweaty. My wee man was sweating loads in his 2.5tog at 20+ degrees but he was also restless and gurning so made it very obvious he was uncomfortably hot.

I do a short sleeved vest and a 1.5 tog sleeping bag- room stays at 20-21 degrees all night x

My room is at 22. She's in a 2.5 and long sleeved vests but I'm going out tomorrow to get a new sleepbag because all I have at the moment are 2.5! She seems ok at the moment and I'm hoping the temperature will drop overnight a bit further!
