Sweep
How do midwives decide whether or not to offer you a sweep?
I’m 38+3 and will be 38+5 when I see my midwife. No signs of baby coming yet!
Do people recommend a sweep or await it happening naturally?

They’ve gave it to me when I was 37 weeks. However I’m having an elective C section so it wasn’t necessary at end x
Personally I’d only consider a sweep of induction/c section was on the cards and I wanted to avoid or maybe if over due date. I had two with my first but really don’t know if it was the second sweep that helped her along or are was just ready to come
Perhaps a sweep after your due date but no need of you've not even hit your due date yet I wouldn't think?
