0 to 1 child is WAY harder than 1 to 2 children in my experience
@Annie really!? I feel like I lucked out with my first. Putting him in a routine was so easy. My only hard days are when he goes through regression or is teething which isn’t as much. My job requires me in phone calls almost all day and I can’t afford day care 😭
I also agree 0-1 way harder than 1-2. I feel like it’s because you kinda know what to expect, know what cues to look for and just generally more knowledge/experience as opposed to your first learning everything for the first time while navigating post partum on the go.
Yeah, two kids really isn’t so hard like whatever routine you have established with your first the new baby just kind of goes along with whatever you’re doing. and @Sharnee is totally right about knowing cues and being able to see things more clearly with the second one since you have more experience
A lot of it will come down to some structure & routines. For you and the littles. The start might just be go with the flow but the sooner you get organised the better you’ll feel. I found meal prepping and planning in advance so helpful in managing things too.
