So if you have twins or know someone who does , are the twins dressed the same ?

I saw some video about a mom talking about how twin b was pulled out before twin a and twin be was rushed off and was told that it was twin a and at doctor appointments she was told twin a was smaller and twin b was bigger and she was handled twin a being told it was twin b and she was so worried how small twin a (really twin b ) would be since the one she was handed was tiny tiny , and in the video they was dressed identical so I'm wondering if this is a common thing for parents to do with twins ? Me presonaly wouldn't dress them alike (same outfit but same color or matching colors sure but not the same outfit )

A lot of the time I cannot find the same outfits in 2 but when I can I do it every now and then. In my situation my twins are exact opposite of one another so no matter how they are dress you can’t confuse them.

I’m a triplet. As babies my parents only dressed us alike for a family photo. Outside of that we were color coded and my mom painted our toenails our color so we didn’t get mixed up by others. Everything we owned was in that color. Bottles had stickers with that color. Charting of feeds/diapers/etc in that color folder. We look nothing alike so it’s still shocking people ever mixed us up to start with.

It’s easier to buy clothes. When you see a nice set, you buy 2 of them. My twin nephews were dressed the same because it was easier to buy clothes. Now teens they still dress the same because they have the same style- black trackies. Everything all day every day black trackies 😂

There are ways to tell them apart even if they're in the same outfit. I'm having twins in June and we plan on having them color coded anklets before they're born so as soon as we know who is who name wise, they can wear those while they're awake. The hospital will put hospital bracelets on them so we can tell who's a and b until they have names too. They have personalized swaddles and labeled bassinets so we don't mix them up at night. It's hard to find matching outfits in different colors unless you order them, mainly from Amazon. I personally think matching outfits is one of the perks of having twins, so they will definitely be wearing them when I can, not all the time though considering they will be wearing a lot of their brothers hand me downs that I can't find duplicates for anymore.

This sounds like a misunderstanding on the mom's part though honestly. The twin that comes out first is always twin A, no matter how they were labeled before birth from ultrasounds. They expect the one closer to the cervix to come out first so they label them twin A, but that isn't always the case, especially with c sections.

I have fraternal G/B twins and did dress them in same color scheme a lot but if I found a unisex matching set I was definitely matching their clothes. I found it so cute!

My twins dress the same occasionally, coordinating sometimes but mostly individualized. I hate hate hate twin parents who force their kids to dress alike every day. I think it’s so bad for their mental health and a waste of money

I watch twin boys. They don’t dress the same, they are also different sizes and look different. They always have coordinating clothing though which is cute. But I think most all their outfits are similar colors so maybe that’s just by chance.

@Cheyann but she was told twin a was gunna come out 1st when born vaginally that was the plan till an emergency c section

@Daija I saw her video an I'm like who is who like labeled twin a and b , since they was both girls dressed the same and I'm glad she knows who is who but I'm the kind of person who likes matching /complimentary colors better since one will be in pale blue and the other in a sage green and tell who's who by the color not by guessing if they are identical twins cuase if one twin needs medicine and other doesn't its so much easier to be like o the one in x color needs the meds

@Michelle I like when twins match in colors not outfits outside of family pics cuase to me it makes more sense then identical outfits for identical twins

My twins aren’t even identical and people still struggle to tell them apart. I couldn’t imagine the annoyance if we dressed them the same too
