Worth it?

Do you think pregnancy and all the things is worth it? The number one thing I heard during pregnancy was “it’s worth it” I wasn’t sure if I believed people. 1. I had a really hard pregnancy with morning sickness until 16 weeks, severe back and hip pain (previous injuries flaring up), not sleeping more than 2 hrs straight because of pain. 2. The labor/ delivery was also awful. Got diagnosed with pre eclampsia at 36 weeks and had her via Csection after failed induction and laboring for 36 hours. The nurses told me I was feeling pain equivalent to 9cm natural labor for 19 hours before getting the epidural. 3. Now it’s been 3 months since I’ve had her and I had RPOC (retained products of conception) meaning they left placenta in there. They did a D&C in office and were unable to get everything. Yesterday I got a hysteroscopy (scope in my uterus to see and get everything else out) and they said they got the rest which was quite a bit. Although this has been all around an AWFUL experience… it most definitely is worth it seeing her smile 💛🥹 she is truly an amazing gift from God and I thank Him every single day. I would do all of this all over again just to see that smile. I can’t believe it’s already been 3 months. It’s truly been a blessing watching her grow and learn things. 4 years ago on this day we were on our honeymoon in Florida, which is the reason we decided to move to South Carolina. I never would’ve thought 4 years later we’d have a beautiful 3 month old baby. God is good 🩷

I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum I went emergency room 3 times because I wasn’t able to keep water Or any liquid was horrible the first 4 months but I love my baby and if I have to do it again I’ll

I've done it twice now and that was enough for me. I love my kids but absolutely hated being pregnant. You are amazing for enduring all of that❤️

I had a horrible pregnancy, and an awful labor and delivery. I will absolutely never do it again…for anyone else but this boy. If I had to do it all over again for him, yes I would in a heart beat. But I will not do it for any other hypothetical nonexistent future children lol.

@Sky that’s where I am at lol. She was absolutely worth it. Does that mean I’m down for it again? Nooo 😅

@Kyla 🩷🩷 thank you!

I had a wonderful pregnancy. No morning sickness till about 2nd trimester and I loved the princess treatment at work lol my labor was great, got the epidural and was induced at 39 weeks. Labored for 25 hours and then I pushed for 25 minutes. It was a very lucky process. Idk if the next time around I’ll be lucky again lol

@Stephanie my friend had an amazing pregnancy and birth as well. We were pregnant at the same time too so it sucked hearing she was living the dream while I was fighting for my life 😂😂

Wow that sounds like an awful experience for you, and sorry you had to go through that! I certainly think creating humans is a blessing and it’s a temporary sacrifice we make for a lifetime of gain xx
