My daughter does the same but I would give her Powerade or gatorade so she could drink some electrolytes. They’ll become more dehydrated after that and would want water.
I make my water look super good and when they were really young I would say it's only for me. Of course they would come drink out of my water. Once I have them drinking out of my water, I got them their own mini-stanley (costco brand lol) and they both carry their water around everywhere.
I put coconut water in my daughters water and now I can’t keep a bottle away from her! Maybe give that a try! I’ll do 2 oz of coconut water and 6 oz water
I put 1 oz of 100% fruit juice into 8 oz of water otherwise my son won't drink it
My lo has days where she’ll drink her whole cup and others where she barely touches it but she knows it’s always close by. The pediatrician recommended putting fruit or cucumber in her water because she wasn’t drinking much water but since I started leaving her cup with her she’s drinking more so I haven’t tried the fruit yet. I always carry my water and she has hers so I think it’s helped her drink more too.
I recommend squeezing a little orange juice or lemon juice in there. My little loves sour things so any hint of that in food or drink & shes down.
If you haven’t yet, try different cups! Straw cups, soft spout sippy cups, insulated water bottles with a straw, etc. maybe they just don’t care for the one you’re using for water 🤷🏼♀️ my girl has preferences for cups and there’s some that she won’t really drink out of and others that she loves drinking from
agree with trying different cups! we currently using dr browns straw cups and tried almost 4 different cups before. she liked drinking water with them.
I’ve given my son like an ounce of apple juice and the rest water just because his doctor said it was okay. Maybe there’s something they could recommend for you
