What are we dressing our babies in?!

My little boy is just in a long sleeved vest and 1.5tog sleeping bag tonight as my bedroom is 25 degrees even with fan. 🥲

Our room is same temp and he's in 1 tog bag with shortie sleepsuit

@Lily I saw this but she feels super cool in what she is in now, so I’m scared she would be absolutely freezing 🥲

Honestly i thought this, but i saw a few post saying “cold babies cry warm babies die” as crazy as it sounds id rather her wake me up crying that shes cold than anything else! If anything have your babe in less layers and add a layer if they wake up cold?? Our little girl was getting too hot in a 1.5 tog bag and it was worrying me so i got a 0.5 from m&s x

Also not meaning to scare you at all, its such a mind field and we worry about them no matter what if theyre hot, cold or anything else! My partner kept worrying our lg was cold but i said id rather the other way round! X

If they are cold they will definitely let you know! it’s better to take a layer off if you’re not sure, currently it says my room is 25 degrees even with the windows open🤯 so my little girl is just in a vest, and when it cools down i will put her 1 tog sleeping bag on her a bit later, if you’re unsure/worried, take a layer off so you can feel at ease and if they are cold they will tell you xx

My room is about 23/24 degrees and my baby wears a long sleeve vest and a 1.5 tog sleeping bag as the room drops to about 21/22 degrees during the night and early hours xx

Mine says 21. Shortie sleepsuit & 2.5 tog x

@Lily this is quite abit different to the other charts. My baby would def be too cool following this one! But I agree rather slightly cooler than overheating.

Her room got to 24c, so just had her in a nappy and in a 1tog sleep bag.

My boy just in a nappy and 1 tog. It's really warm in our room - he slept really well last night in just a nappy and not even a sleep bag, just had a muslin over him!!
