I just do it on a blanket on the floor with my 94th percentile baby, that way if she does manage to roll away it’s not a big deal. Toys don’t always work, sometimes putting her pants on her head helps, she finds that hilarious.
Is he pullling up to standing yet? If so, I find that it helps a ton to put it on while babe is standing. I also just put it on while babe crawling (get the diaper all opened up, and then sneak the front up through the legs from behind) not ideal but I find it much easier than restraining and in result making babe upset and future diaper changes more of a power struggle.. I’ll get it on and then readjust the tabs if needed when babe is distracted.
Same here! She wiggles and rolls around tries to sit up it’s a challenge! I usually change her on our bed. I can’t help but just laugh when she manages to get away and I see her little naked butt getting away 🤣
Same here with a 98% tile baby. It’s a nightmare some days trying to change her. Kinda can’t wait till she’s a year and we can start potty training her.

It’s so hard! I have my baby stand up and hold onto the baby gate then I call our dogs on the other side of the gate to keep him entertained so I can get a diaper on him lol
Babies turn into little alligators at this age for diaper changes I swear lol they’re so fast and get so mad to lay still 😂 That said I sit on the floor with them and put my legs over their arms out to the side so there’s room in between my legs to change them but their arms are trapped under my feet/legs. They’re gonna be mad no matter so we get it done quick that way and it’s over with lol
