Most baby’s go head down by arounr 36-37 weeks with my first it was around 30-32 weeks and with my second she’s been head down since 18-19 weeks. But there’s still time for sure I’ve heard bouncing on a ball helps get them in position and I used that to get engagement
@kelly it’s just bizzare to me because this is my 3rd and both of mine previous were head down from the get go and never moved. And I’d be fine with her being breech if it didn’t hurt so much and she was actually moving properly but the reduced movement purely due to her positioning is so stressful
Have you looked at Spinning Babies? Found that helped with my first when he was still transverse at 40w. Born 40+4 perfectly head down :)
Try the birthing ball x
Birthing ball or go on all fours and rock your hips. Both will encourage baby to move positions =)
Mine was exactly the same and I was so worried he hadn’t flipped head down untill I was 36 weeks and my midwife told me he was to my surprise! I didn’t do anything to encourage it really, it just happened. So hopefully same happens for you:)
@Bethany awww I bet so sorry to hear that I hope you get sorted soon x
Literally the situation I'm in! My 2 boys were head down so early on this time I'm having a girl really don't think she's gonna shift out of this breech position. So painful under my ribs
Get on all fours, lay your head & shoulders on the ground and keep bum in the air. Sway side to side also. I did this every day and baby has now turned! I have also been swimming and that apparently helps! :) My first baby was breech but I was clueless and didn’t do anything to help! But this time I made sure every day I was trying! And it’s worked :)
Following as I’m in the same position 34+3 and he is still breech
