Planting seeds with toddlers
Anyone had any luck with specific edible plants (herbs or veggies) surviving the hot Fresno summer? I want to start planting seeds with my kids, but hopefully some things that might have a chance at surviving the hot summer months. I have small, portable grow beds that can be moved in the shade if needed š All suggestions welcome!
i usually have success with thyme, cilantro, and lavender. I keep the out of the sun and in shade under trees so they have indirect sunlight. this year iābe added jalapeƱos and theyāre doing great so far. same thing in shade under trees and not a building for indirect sunlight
