Am I overfeeding my baby?

My baby is now 4 weeks old. He is crying and showing hunger ques every three hours on the dot. He was on 4oz but noticed that he was then wanting a feed every 2 hours. I have now upped this to 5oz and his gone back to every three hours and seems more content. He has a small about of spit up every now and then but this seems quite normal, his not in discomfort but seems like his having a lot compared to other babies?? (Formula fed baby and is having aptamil hunger)

Sounds fine to me. You know your baby the best

He’s probably cluster feeding which is totally normal!

Sounds good to me

It's very difficult to overfeed a baby if you are following hunger cues. They will turn their head or push the bottle away when they are full. The only way a bottle-fed baby could really be overfed is if you are ignoring hunger cues and trying to stick to a "schedule," get them to finish a bottle so it isn't wasted, or otherwise trying to feed them when they clearly aren't interested. Otherwise, if baby is hungry, feed that baby!

You cant overfeed a baby in terms of if you do then they will throw up whatever amount thier stomach cannot hold. Sounds like you've done the right thing and baby is okay. X

Sounds absolutely fine to me,

My baby drinks 6oz every 3/4hours at 4 weeks old and was told just to go with babys cues xx I’ve got a little milk goblin on my hands😂
