Swollen feet help

Last night my feet swelled up all of a sudden so I thought sleeping it off and letting them rest would help but when I woke up they were still big 😢 everyone tells me to walk (I personally think I walk a good amount) and so I walked and it still has not gone down and my body is sooo achey its not fun to walk right now. should I be worried??

Sudden swelling especially if it's severe and painful can sometimes be a symptom of preeclampsia. Worth checking in with your OB.

My left foot is more swollen that my right. My OB is aware and I showed her today.

Call your OB or l&d number - *sudden* swelling can be a sign of pre-e as others have noted, but also of things like PPCM

I went to ER last night for my foot. They checked urine and swelling. Did an ultrasound to make sure no blood clots. Turned out I’m fine. Just baby is laying or positioned in a way where my foot is swelling. They said try and drink plenty of water and rest and elevate foot when I get the chance. He’s also measuring a week ahead of time. So he’s gunna be big in weight at birth

When you push on your feet, does a dent stay where you pushed your finger for a bit? That’s a sign of preeclampsia.

Elevate your feet when you can.. compression socks are also a good idea and of course keep hydrated
