I’ve just taken my third injection! Down 7.6lb xxx
I get it from the chemist I was too scared ordering online!
It’s really dangerous. I like getting on skinnytok on tik tok. They will really help you do what you need to do. For free. And you could document your journey to help others.
@Julie I love this Julie. Thanks for sharing!
Lucca, I am so sorry you have been struggling both mentally and with your weight. I can completely understand and relate to your situation. I am so tempted to get on Mounjaro myself! However, recently, I met with a friend and she was telling me about a woman that she is friends with who lost a lot of weight by going to hormone therapy and minimizing her portions when eating. My neighbor also lost a lot of weight just by walking with a 8 pound vest. Walking on the treadmill at an incline of two. If you need an accountability partner, I’m your gal! I’m trying to do the same thing and use any other medication as the very last resort. The thing I worry about medication is that if you lose weight too fast, your skin starts to sag. I’ve seen it with my friend, but I know everyone is different. I love what Julie suggested. Going on skinny talk or a healthy talk and just getting motivated. All the best to you!
And congratulations on your baby girl!
@Faith that’s true of losing a significant amount of weight regardless of the method. You will have loose skin. There’s just no avoiding that.
I’m 2 weeks in and I’ve lost nearly a stone I think it’s brilliant! I’m eating really well with it to and had no side effects either! It’s not long term so you have to change your mentality with food aswell and eat good food and high fibre and protein x
@Gemma it is long term for a lot of people. Once I get to goal weight I’ll be moving to semiglutide for maintenance for at least a year. Many people continue with maintenance after hitting goal weight. Some for life.
It’s not something you will be on forever I disagree I think you need to change mentality as well with food! Otherwise you will spend £1000s! My plan is 4 months and then I will come off it and just maintain with healthy diet and exercise. It’s meant as a boost for weight loss not something to take forever because you can’t keep the weight off
@Gemma I think you might learn a valuable lesson. It can take your body 7-12 months for it to reset itself. Which is when most people gain back the weight they lost on GLP1’s regardless of making lifestyle changes without utilizing a maintenance dose during that time.
I didn’t realise my weight loss journey affected you so much and that an opinion on it was such a trigger! What works for you may not work for me and vice verse! Personally thought this woman was asking for everyone’s opinion and not just yours that you assume to be right!
@Gemma I was simply pointing out that for many people IT IS long term. And many that chose to not do a maintenance dose after hitting goal weight very often regain all the weight they worked so hard to lose. You do you girl.
I’ve been on mounjaro for 3 months and I’ve lost 3 stone. Down from a size 16 to almost an 8 🙌 No side affects, still on the lowest dose, calorie deficit and exercising too. Feel free to message me if you’d like 😊

Hey, I’ve been on it for 12 weeks and I’ve lost 2 stone 6.5lbs so far. I’m in the UK and get mine from MedExpress. They inform my GP and I’m really happy with them! I have had mild side effects but nothing awful. I no longer feel the desire to snack or eat junk and it’s totally changed my relationship with food. I make sure I drink plenty of water in the day and I take a multivitamin just to make sure I’m getting enough of everything but I still eat 3 meals a day and have really felt great on it! Feel free to message me if you have any questions about it, I’d be happy to help xx
I have lost 2st 9lb / 16.7kg since the middle of January. Carried on using 5mg as it worked well for me. No bad side effects at all. If you would like to document your journey whether that is using MJ or just a simple calorie deficit I would really recommend taking photos of yourself from all angles and measurements. I can’t believe looking back how big I was and that in itself has made me consider portion sizes / unhealthy eating habits. I wish you well on your journey :)
I got a discount code for MJ on medexpress and it came to just over £100 for a months worth so I thought why not just give it a go and see what happens and I’m just waiting for my first delivery, worst case I lose a bit of money, best case I lose some weight lol if you wanted to give it a go this is my med express code AQ36YD
hey! it’s been amazing for me! and i’ve lost all my baby weight! make sure you drink loads make sure your sticking to the right amount of calories i have a code for £40 off with med express if you need it AGJ8A2
@Em ✨ can you guide how did you get it locally from chemist or ordered online , i was just wondering if we need proper prescription for it . Thanks
@Maria I’m pretty certain you can get it online without a prescription. I’m not in the UK at the moment so I get mine through a doctor here but maybe @Rach, @Gabrielle , @Bethany can help on where to order in the UK? Xx
@Maria I am in the UK and you can get it prescribed via an online pharmacy. They will do a consultation with you and then if suitable, provide a prescription. I get mine from MedExpress and I have a referral code for £40 off your first order - QAVD4R. I have been on it almost 3 months and very happy with their support x
I just started Tirzepatide. I can definitely see why you lose weight with it. I have to force myself to eat and I get full really fast. Which is good for me. Because when I’ve lost weight naturally before I was always hungry and completely miserable.
