Yeah i mean I didn't choose Stanmore lol ,,, I was homeless at the time and in a hotel.... thankfully I found a nice landlord who didn't care about UC....However we do need a bigger place so it's like a stepping stone but everything is soo pricy.... it is nice down here but it's like good of rich 🤣 , drive or in retirement 🤣🤣
I would say Watford is family friendly, its a commuter town really with good transport links into London. We live in Harrow and it would probably be the best place locally for shopping as well. Depending on the age of your children there's good parks, couple of decent soft plays and activities. It can be busy around the town center traffic wise, wouldn't be able to tell you about in the week like groups or classes but would say there are children's centers etc.
I recently moved to Stanmore which isn't to far from Watford , from what I can see when I go to the shopping centre it looks alright and lots of outdoor spaces etc
