How long should diaper rashes last?

We have done everything for the past month and half and it seems that nothing helps it. The rash will get a tad better but then after 2 days it gets worse! We tried 3 different diaper creams with every diaper and every other diaper, taking a bath every night with a new towel and washcloth every night, airing out meaning she lays naked on top of a bunch of old towels we don’t care about in between naps throughout the day when we have nothing for the day, different types/brands of diapers. We don’t think it’s the baby soap cause we have been using the same brand and non-scented since she’s been home from the hospital (she’s 5 months old currently) My pediatricians office was no help when I called this morning 😅 so any other mamas have any other suggestions or advice?

My 5 month old was sick. Rhinovirus and enterovirus accompanied by lots of diarrhea which lead to a rash. This “Butt paste” cleared the rash in two days after using it. (Linked below) Additionally don’t use wipes wash with warm water/hands until rash free. Hope this helps for your little one too. ❤️ I also did nightly oatmeal baths as well. (Colloidal oatmeal) Aveeno also carries a colloidal oatmeal for baby. https://a.co/d/5fO3r7e

Also sharing my favorite diaper. https://a.co/d/bt4aYCp

I swear by a+d, she has a diaper rash twice and the second time we used a+d and it cleared up. Every night before bed I lather her butt in the ointment and she hasn't had a rash since. I also use honest diapers, I found pampers, Millie moon, and even coterie gave her a rash

My daughter used to use pampers and she always had a rash. I would use different soaps, ointments until I realized it was the diapers and changed brands. Since we changed diaper brands she hasn’t a rash. I’m not sure if you breastfeed or not, but milk baths seemed to help as well!

Tubby Todd all over ointment is literally the best for this !! Anytime my son has a rash I put it on and it’s gone the next day. So now Before bed I always put the tubby Todd all over his bum and then put baby aquaphor over it

I used a combination of the purple Desitin and the Boogie brand spray. And I would literally LATHER the area. You can’t overdo it. And I would do it every 3 hours.

Give her a bath and pat it dry and let it air out for like 30 minutes. Just keep her on a towel. We use Vaseline for diaper rashes. It seemed like it was the only thing that worked
