Need some advice 🥲
Hi mamas,
FTM here! My LO has caught something. He has a sore throat and is coughing, he has a runny nose and gets a fever sometimes. When would I need to go see a doctor? Are there any particular symptoms that I need to look out for? Any particular type of cough that I need to look out for?
I’m really freaking out here! I’ve heard so many horror stories about GPs making it seem like something minor when turns out it was really bad!

@Jess I hope yours is doing better now x how long did it take for your LO to recover?
@Khushbu about a week fully - we gave calpol on a morning as that’s when he tended to be at his worst after sleeping laying down but otherwise it was just keeping an eye on him really; we used saline nose spray a handful of times too but it didn’t do loads x
Ours has just been through something similar, it’s horrible seeing them down! Annoyingly I think it’s something like 3 weeks before doctors will be concerned. I was told by a midwife relative to keep an eye out for mucus, and them going off their food dramatically x
