This happened to my little girl at 6 weeks. She refused to sleep and if she did it was for very short periods and wouldn’t be put down. Apparently they go through a regression at around 6-8 weeks. We are now out of it at 8 weeks and she’s back to her normal chilled, happy self. It lasted about 10 days for us. It will pass 🤍
I had this with my son when he was 6 weeks old. It was hard but it lasted a couple of days/ up to a week but just depends. Is she wanting more milk? Do you keep her up longer so she falls a sleep longer? It all depends but it will pass.
@Kirsty she’s actually having less at each feed than normal but making up for it by feeding more often which I think is why she’s waking up. We’ve tried to get her to have more in one go but she refuses the bottle after a certain point! As for sleep, she gets sooooo grouchy very quickly and shows sleepy cues soon after feeding as well
Saying that about sleep she’s currently been asleep on me for over 2 hours 🙃🙃
Welcome to the club! Mine started last Tuesday and think he’s just turned the corner today, so 10-14 days xx
Callie, I’m so glad you’ve posted this … we’re going through the exact same thing 🫠 My little boy literally hit 6 weeks wont sleep, wont let me put him down, and he wants to feed every hour … my whole body aches from no sleep and constant carrying 😂 I spoke to the health visitor yesterday and she says it’s depends on your baby … sometimes I can just last a couple of days but max 2 weeks! So hopefully it’ll pass quickly! 💕 You got this girly, hopefully it passes soon for you!! xx
