Has anyone else's toddler become an absolute nightmare recently? I don't know if it's just a thing at this age, or if my son is acting up because I'm 34 weeks pregnant. But oh my lord I'm so at the end of my tether with him. He's refusing dinner - will go so far as making himself vomit if I make him sit at the table and take mouthfuls. Bedtime is such a battle and he's taking ages to fall asleep. The tantrums are another level, he's in our face screaming and shouting, hitting us. I just can't get through to him at the moment, and with my pregnancy hormones I'm close to losing it.

You’re not alone. I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I’m absolutely there with you. My daughter is hitting me screaming biting kicking all because I’m asking her to have a bath brush her teeth put pyjamas on etc, things that have been routine for years and had no issues. I have no answers but wanted to let you know, me too!

@Nikkita sometimes it's just nice to know I'm not alone and losing my mind!

Agreed! Xx

Yes the meltdowns are becoming very difficult to deal with. If she has one before nursery she's always late because it's taking her so long to calm down. We suspect that she is somewhere on the spectrum so don't know how much that has to do with it. It feels like an emotional rollercoaster at the moment! x

Mine is having daily meltdowns and is super emotional. He has a 13 month old sibling and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. I'm really quick to snap too with all these hormones. Behaviour could be change-related or developmental...or a bit of both! Either way, no advice but some solidarity from me x
