Head shape

Where can I have my daughter’s head checked if I’m concerned about the shape of her head and ridges on her skull - Aside from going through the GP? (They are very dismissive)

Speak to your health visitor

@Elizabeth Aneiros I brought it up during the 6-week check, and she said to keep an eye on it and see the GP if I’m still concerned. But the next health visitor appointment isn’t until 8 months, so I’m wondering if there are other ways to get it checked sooner—private options are fine too.

I think it depends on what the problem is. My son had a flat head, and I was told by hv it was absolutely fine, which it wasn't. I bought medically certified pillows, and I've fixed the problem.

If you want to go private have you tried through Bupa that's who I'm with and they are great ☺️

@Jowita do you mind me asking what pillow you used? We are in the same situation.xx

@Charlotte I have for sale if you would be interested. They are called headcare pillows and website is headcare.eu x

You can call up your HV and ask to be seen sooner than 8 months
