@Danielle I think formula always smells so it's hard to tell ! I just want to be able to give a bottle every now and then when I'm out and my outfit isn't easy access for the baby. He is nearing 4 months

It depends on the age of the baby, or if your baby has displayed a sensitive stomach. If super young/newborn I'd be concerned. For my older babies who only got supplemented with formula, it wasn't abnormal for us to take months to use up a tin. Especially the bigger ones from Costco. If you've kept the tin with the lid sealed, and it doesn't smell rancid, I'm quite sure it's likely fine. But that's just what I'd do. 🤷‍♀️
