I personally haven't been sharing on social media, though I do share on FamilyAlbum and a family WhatsApp group. Do you mean YOU will be the odd one out for not sharing? If you think he will feel like the odd one out, then at that point that he can decide, you can change what you do accordingly!
I agree with the above I only share with close friends and relatives- it’s a crazy world we live in. According to my socials, you couldn’t even tell I have a child
I’d encourage you to have a look at what/how predators can use images of your child. As soon as I did I was incredibly firm on not putting my baby/child online under any circumstances.
I also have a selection of people that we invited to use the app FamilyAlbum. I had a friend make the comparison of when we used to get a camera roll printed we would never just give the packets out to hundreds of people and say yeh no problem you keep those photos which is essentially what we do when we post online. If you want to post something you could also do it on your story and create a close friends list so you have some control on who views it. Do what’s best for your family ☺️
I personally keep him offline. There’s no arguments about it and I won’t have to worry about others taking them and using them. It’s a crazy world put there and you don’t always know people’s intentions. Just airing on the side of caution. I send to close family however, mom sister ect. Certain In-laws too.
