Bedding

When does everyone plan on introducing a pillow and duvet? I know it’s not yet for a while, but my niece just turned 1 and was given both the day after her first birthday? I was thinking around 18 months if not later but is that too late?

Following - I was wondering the same the other day x

I plan to do a pillow 1st not sure when yet though. I won't do a duvet until after she outgrows sleep sacks x

Not til at least age 2 in this house. My older two were closer to 3.

My older daughter didn't have one until around 3. I'm really not sure what the point is if they're sleeping happily in a sleeping bag and without a pillow x

My first is 2 and 4 months and still sleeps in a sleeping bag in a cot. He goes down easily and sleeps straight through 11 hours straight every night so I don’t feel the need to change anything. Assume it will be the same with this baby

My LG has been sleeping with a pillow for around 6 weeks, she's 9m. I know it goes against the "mum rules" but I introduced it when she had a cough she couldn't shift to prop her up a touch and she's slept much better with it. She's also a front sleeper and she's been doing great. I won't introduce a duvet for some time though. You do you, whatever works for you and little one

Same as @Elaine and @Ella We moved our daughter to a toddler bed just after her 3rd birthday and introduced a duvet and pillow then. She was still happy in her cot but I was pregnant with her sister and wanted to get through the disruption without the added challenge of a baby. As it happens, it was an absolutely seamless transition because she was of an age where I could explain it all to her in advance

We waited until he grew out of the sleep bags at around 2/ 2 and a half

My son has only just moved to a toddler bed with pillow and duvet. He turned 3 in April x

Yes. We have been using the silent night pillow and duvet set since 5 months x
