Weaning equipment

My baby is going to start weaning at the end of this months what do I get? Plus if you have links as well! I’ve heard suction plates and bowl are good. What do I need like the essentials? Someone said I need a baby food maker? Help.

I've literally got beakers/cups, bowls, plates, spoons, fork, and just a standard blender is fine. I didn't really use it though as I mashed up the food as he wouldn't take to puree, we moved onto blw very quickly

@Lauren with BLW as I want to do this do i literally just like give normal food? Like how do I go about it? Just put like what I would eat on a plate & let her explore?

Commenting as although i have a couple months still, i have no idea where to start

@Annie get the SOLID STARTS app! It tells you how to cut/serve food correctly in the safest way! It’s free too x

Yeah I give my little boy the food I eat (minus the salt etc) - I'll cut it up according to his age and ability etc but we've done it since 6 months where I started with finger sized food and introduced each food individually to get him used to it and now he's 10 months I do smaller bite size pieces which he picks up but yeah just let them explore the foods and different textures Today for example he had a boiled egg, hash brown and some toast for breakfast, pizza twists (pastry, cheese, mixed herbs and tomato puree) and some cherries for lunch and dinner was chicken, mushroom, pepper pasta in a tomato sauce and some broccoli
