Re scan- dress š

So I completely forgot that I was going for a scan when I went to the hospital for my 20 week scan. I wore a maxi dress and obviously no shorts underneath just big old maternity knickers and low and behold my sonographer was a man and honestly I just had to hitch up my dress tuck the tissue in to my underwear and pretend everything was normal but no, the dress was actually not the problem. It was the lack of shorts and the oversized maternity knickers and that was a personal problem for me no one else cared.
I donāt think they will mind whatever you wear, bet it happens a lot š
I had an unexpected scan at my consultant appointment this week and had a dress on with no shorts under, they couldnāt care less, she just gave me a little blanket cloth thing to lay over my legs.
I donāt see the problem with just wearing a dress tbh. When you go into labour there will be no dignity anyway š
I always wear dresses with shorts underneath for scans and not had any problem š
