How often/easily are twins missed?

My sister-in-law didn’t find out she was having twins until she was 16 weeks.

If I hadn't had an internal scan at 8 weeks then I wouldn't have known, the abdominal scan only showed one baby :)

I only knew from my internal scan , abdominal scan only found one that was at 9 weeks xx

I know its only 10 secs of video but could there be another one hiding behind? Or is it pretty unlikely from seeing this? This was an abdominal scan

I had an 8 week scan and was told there was only 1. 12 weeks there was very clearly 2! I was convinced when we went for that 8 week scan there would’ve been 2 I was so sick, my sense of smell was horrific and the heartburn and exhaustion was something else. I was also really bloated and was convinced at 11 weeks id felt some early flutters so I really wasn’t surprised when a second was found at 12 weeks

Oh gosh this worries me now. I’m convinced I’m gonna have twins next but now I don’t even know when I’d find out lol whether that’s 8 weeks or further

I actually found out I was pregnant with twins just because ny progesterone was insanely high at 4 weeks pregnant. Im expecting twins this year and I honestly cried of so much panic

Honestly multiples is the best thing EVER. So please any mamma's who are expecting multiples it will be ok x
