My little boy only just started rolling belly to back this week, he doesn't seem bothered and is more interested in trying to get up on his knees. They still have plenty of time to be doing it before it becomes a concern ☺️
my little girl is 6.5 months and is exactly the same, she’s never rolled back to belly but she has belly to front a few weeks ago but nothing since, she rolls onto her side and when i try encourage her to go onto her front, she gives up😅
mine is the same and she’s also 5.5 months, i read on an NHS website today (I’ll link it) that to encourage them to roll, all their floor time shouldn’t be on a gym (all my LO’s floor time has been because she loves it, i had no idea!) so today i put her on a blanket most of the day with a lot of tummy time and she rolled tummy to back more today than she has in all the months put together! also, when she started putting her head to one side, if i walked onto the side she was leaning she tended to go all the way (she wasn’t bothered about toys if they were out of reach 😂). just sharing if anyone else had no idea about the gym like me 😅 https://cypf.berkshirehealthcare.nhs.uk/health-and-development/your-baby-and-you/rolling-and-sitting/
it also helped that she decided she doesn’t mind tummy time today, she usually HATES it so i struggle to do more than 10 minutes
@Hana omg i never knew this😅 my baby lovesss her play gym😩
@Jenna same, she’s literally alwaysss in it 😅
My little boy hated belly time and out of nowhere he started rolling over. Don’t even worry x
She’ll do it don’t worry. My girl rolls now with in seconds of being put down and now sleeps on her tummy (by rolling her self, I don’t put her down this way) she’s rolled belly to back from 4 month and back to belly from 5 months (she’s now 6 month) what helped her a lot was putting a toy right above her head. Not too far but just out of reach. X
