I’m nearly 10 months pp and the weight is not budging!! I’m probably 2 stone over weight 😩 I also haven’t got my period back yet. Do you think once it returns I may start seeing some weight loss? 🙏

I’m 13 months pp, period has returned and I’ve been exercising in varying degrees since 3 months pp. I am making progress but it’s the slowest it’s ever been for me. The pelvic floor repair is a b*tch lol
Overall just get started, stay consistent and you’ll start to see changes!
I personally don't think that starting your period will help with weight loss but i do know from experience that weight loss helps with regulating your cycle. Good luck!
I just feel like I still have such a bloated belly and I’m really hoping a period will reduce it 😩
It could, thyroid issues are also very prevalent after pregnancy so that’s something to consider and maybe speak to your GP about
Look up some exercises for diastisis recti a lot of us suffer with it post partum and that’s what makes us look pregnant yearsss after pregnancy as the abs separate we need to repair them
@Cerys I’ve already had this checked by the physio and I haven’t got this x
Ahhh I see have you been doing exercise and in a calorie deficit? X
You need to track what you eat. I know it’s dull and every fitness guru out there will tell you the same thing. You won’t lose weight unless you’re in a calorie deficit.
I struggled so much to lose weight after having my third baby. I was in the same situation. I put on so much weight and despite going to the gym (when I felt ready) eating healthy etc I wasn’t losing the weight, I was getting in shape (toned) and fitter, my energy levels etc improved but in terms of weight loss, I only saw that happen when I started to watch what I ate closely and I cut my calories little by little. Breastfeeding makes you hungry and I didn’t realise how many extra calories I was eating throughout the day 😹
