I spoke with my midwife when I was pregnant with my first baby and she said eating out is fine. Just make sure they don’t use homemade sauces like mayo etc and if you go on the nhs website it tells you what is safe and unsafe. I know you can’t always be 100% that everything is cooked properly but hopefully that shouldn’t stop you from having some nice meals out! X

Nowadays they need to be so careful with allergens, etc, everyone has been very helpful - once I even had a waiter take a picture of the halloumi cheese packaging in the kitchen to show me as proof it’s made from pasteurised milk 😅 If they don’t know, then I order something else…
I still get take aways. It’s risky, but I will never live my life if I avoid all risks. I rarely get food poisoning before pregnancy. Not sure why it would start now. Treat yourself
