Smoking in pregnancy

I’m 13 weeks, I smoke weed (blunts no tobacco) normally everyday especially to help my adhd & autism but I stopped at 4 weeks when I found it… I’m scared to smoke because of everything you hear but it’s becoming difficult, just looking for somebody to make me feel better to be honest and tell me it’s okay🙄😂❤️

I would suggest switching from blunts to joints. Paper is way more natural & safer than blunts because of the tobacco in the wrap. I also noticed that my fertility became stronger when I switched from blunts to joints & that’s how I ended up pregnant. But I also smoked my entire first trimester to help with nausea & appetite. My doctor even told me she didn’t recommend me smoking but that she preferred I did it if it meant I was eating & helping baby grow. Overall everything was fine, I didn’t have any trouble & my baby was born perfectly fine just a little underweight but nothing major. Also if you don’t want joints you could try a bong maybe but you have to make sure you keep it clean all the time & replace the bong water because the dirty bong water is what could affect you the most. Hope this helps!

Girl i am having trouble stopping smoking. Im at 6 1/2 weeks currently. Found out a week ago and im strugglingggggggg. Glad it’s not just me but it is gonna be ok.

Following. Also adhd and autism and have a hard time eating. 4w and im scared too. But I need my medicine

I was a heavy smoker, dabs, joints, blunts, bongs, pipes everyday for 5 yrs then I got pregnant stopped cold turkey mind u I didn’t know I was preggo for about a month. Ur nauseas regardless because of baby not because u stopped smoking. My morning sickness didn’t go away til I was in my second trimester. It is what it is you can do it !

Sorry I’m from England so blunts and joints are different over here, I smoke joints but without tobacco, I use papers but just straight weed x

To the mamas having difficulty quitting. Try cutting down slowly till you are only having one joint a day. Do not add tobacco just smoke pure. Make sure you’re taking your prenatal vitamins and drinking plenty of water. Not saying you need to chug a whole gallon of water just get yourself a Stanley or a cheap one and try refilling it twice a day as one fill is around 1 Litre and we need around 2. If the one joint a day helping you get up and eating etc and you feel as you want to continue you can but your choice. I’m currently 37 w and smoke one a day and baby meets his development targets. There’s some other mums who have given birth to their babies here who can speak on their experience if you need further reassurance. Make sure the weed you pick up is from a trusted source too!

@Chloe this is what I’ve started doing, smoking less blunts everyday even transferred to papers. Down to 3 a day at the moment

It really depends on the state you live in but, I know for a fact in my state u have to talk to a social worker if it comes up on the cord

@Blut Bitch I’ve seen a lot of different things about this what state do you live in? And did they drug test you during your pregnancy??

@Noelle you’ll get down to one easily, just try distracting yourself with stuff that’s what helped me a lot. You know your body best so you’ll do what you need to do.

My girl was born 6 weeks early and is not behind at all. I took gummies as needed for morning sickness. After she was born, no one ever brought up that she tested positive for thc.

It isn't children not meeting milestones or being healthy as babies. It's it does affect brain chemistry and how it's being wired while developing - making them more predisposed to anxiety, depression and addiction as young adults. Not worth it.

Baby girl you’re just fine, papers are safer and remember to keep up on your water intake

You should not be smoking weed regularly, I can’t imagine why anyone would take that risk that could hurt their developing child.
