Hospital due to break waters today

Has anyone had this to get little one here? Currently 41wks and booked in for induction but had a final sweep yesterday and as I’m 2/3cm already, they are hopeful that just breaking my waters will do the trick! Has anyone had this themselves? Waiting for the call to go in but don’t know the success rate/what the process would be if nothing were to happen after them breaking my waters as this little one seems very stubborn in there! Thanks :)

I had my daughter on Sunday after being induced. They broke my waters at midnight, I was contracting within minutes and she was born at 04.49am so for me it was quick and straight forward!

I was induced on Monday evening. Waters were broken at 1030pm. I always already having mild contractions anyway before I went in. They left me for 2hrs to see if they would increase on their own. They put me on the drip at 00:30am yesterday, but a small amount to increase my contractions. Baby was born at 02:24am with no meds or gas and air. The contractions were intense towards the end but I went from 5cm to pushing in 3 minutes! 😳

I had induction with my first and don't get me wrong, I needed an epidural and I did ask for one this time also but I was pushing before the anaesthetist even got to me 🤣 gas and air was hurting my chest. I remember thinking it was more effort breathing with it than just breathing without it 🤣 Don't be afraid to ask for the pain relief if you need it 💕 xx
