Potty training tips!
I’m planning to try potty training my son at the weekend but I’m pretty nervous about it. He is showing signs of being ready and has really good understanding of what the potty is for etc. However he always says no to sitting on the potty at nappy changes. If anyone has any tips of what worked well when potty training their LO’s and encouraging them to sit on the potty they would be greatly appreciated 🙏

My daughter also wouldn’t sit on the potty before we started potty training. I recommend the Big Little Feelings potty training course :-)
@Amber can I just ask, I've got a carry potty and hoping to start with my boy next week... if they wee or poo in it while you're out and about, do you put a puppy pad or a nappy or something absorbant in it to clean it out? X
My son is almost 3 and we’ve literally just potty trained him, I bought one of those ‘my carry potty’ and he was absolutely obsessed with it. He didn’t want to know beforehand. Then I just put him in pants during the day and kept asking him if he needed a wee and making him sit on it every so often! And now he’s dry during the day!
