Roommate issue??
My bd moved out and I cant afford the rent alone. A friend of mine who is also a single mother planner on moving in with me and raise our children together until we can get on our feet. Today, she told me she plans on having her new boyfriend over to stay with us every week when she doesn't have the kids. This is uncomfortable for me because I have my child 100% of the time and i don't want to hangout with him all the time nor do I want to listen to them have sex all the time either. He lives 5 hours away and I dont think she plans on going to his place often. I just feel used. I didn't think this was the plan. If we were going on dates or seeing people, I didn't plan on bringing them back to our home.. what would you do? I don't have many other options for someone to rent.

Yes I know, “as soon as she pays it’s her home too” I’d stop it now if you don’t want her boyfriend being there.
I'd make that a clear boundary. She goes to his place or doesn't move in?
Unfortunately if she pays rent, she can have whomever she would like over, tho if he causes damages or is dangerous that will be a different situation entirely. But as soon as she pays, it’s her home too. Maybe try to find another local mom (we have a mom group and I often see moms doing this same thing but reaching out (always background check!) idk if that’s an option for you to try before she moves in.
