Formula.

If you have to formula supplement what would you choose. Right now we’re using what he was on in the NICU but he is still barely gaining. He also just spits it up immediately. Breastmilk he eats well. Weighted feeds shows he’s getting 4.5 to 6 oz every 2 hours stop at 4 months. I’m working on my protein intake to help make the milk more fatty. But he barely weighs 12 lbs and he started at 9lbs. We’re about to start solids but I’m not intending for those to contribute to weight. ( right note it’s just licking things until he sits up better )

Is there an option for donor milk?

@Jess I’ve looked into it but it freaks my husband out to get it from a stranger. But we also don’t know anyone who even has babies.

@Delainey Eats on Feets or Human Milk for Human Babies and then your state after that. They have Facebook pages too. There’s also people that sell on Facebook marketplace or in breastmilk for sale pages. I was able to feed my daughter with only donor milk after 4 months and have enough to get to a year.
