Dropping bottles?

Hii, when did/when are you planning to drop all bottles? My little girl is 18 months old and I still give her a wee 4/5 ounce cows milk bottle before bed as it’s just always been a part of our bedtime routine and helps get her to sleep, but just wondering when is it usually time to drop this If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated🩷

are you putting the milk in a beaker or baby bottle if a baby bottle then they need to try to transition to a beaker or cup for milk but don't put pressure on yourself your child will get there.

No bottles of milk at all or even at night from 15 months. He doesn’t even have milk anymore. But if he does want some milk during the day he has it in a cup.

I still give my little girl a bottle at lunchtime and bedtime - she seems happy so I am not changing anything

Thank you!, I give her it in a bottle as it’s bedtime, she’s started playing with the teet of the bottle the past 2 nights which is why I wondered what everyone else does🩷 I’m in no rush to wean her off of it tho was just intrigued x

@Saira this is how I feel, she knows it’s bedtime when she has her bottle

My boy is a really fussy eater and some meals barely eats so we still do bedtime milk in a tum tum beaker so he’s gets extra calories.

My LG absolutely loved her milk, especially a warm big 8oz before going to bed… then around 3 weeks ago she just started to refuse the bottle completely biting the teat and messing around. 1 week later, she just started to randomly refuse the bottle so I would offer it her in a cup instead as I know she used to have meltdowns over her milk but nope…. it’s as though she just decided that milk wasn’t for her anymore one day🤣🤣

Mine still has a full 9oz on a morning and at bedtime, not out of a baby bottle though

@Paige this is what my wee one is doing! Starting to play with the teat so thinking shes getting ready to lose the bedtime bottle now x

@Louise do you mean teat from a baby bottle?

@katie yeah x

ok then yh maybe try her with a beaker or cup with lid.
