Hey, I did the same thing. But I picked a stuffed animal, even though my daughter never attached to them either, and I showed her that we were going to put her pacifier inside of the stuffed animal and even though she couldn’t have it in her mouth, she’d have it in her stuffy. She asked for it maybe twice; but other than that; she had just been carrying around her stuffed animal everywhere and if she asks for her pacifier I just say it’s in your cow and if you’re sad just hug your cow. It’s worked wonders. Been cold turkey for 2 weeks now. (I did actually sew her pacifier into the cow. She can feel it in there).
we went cold turkey about three months ago (accidentally but hey, it worked😅) we literally couldn’t find it one night, so he had to go to bed without it. when i did find it, i just didn’t give it back to him. after a couple nights, he stopped reaching for it in his sleep and never thought about it again.
I poked little holes in them to release the air and it was less satisfying for her. Every time she put them in her mouth she would immediately spit it out.
i went cold turkey on my daughter, also a february 2023 baby and it was TUFF lemme say that but dont cave mama you can do it, what also helped for me was white noise and music
