Gaslighting, its when you're questioning your reality. So for example; if your partner has upset you. Then you speak to your partner about being upset & its turned on you & you're the one who's always apologising. That was just one example but please do look it up. Verbal - This could be put downs & name calling Financial - your partner has complete control over you're finances. You may get a little bit of 'pocket money' to go to the shop. financially wise: he was mad i had a job and he was home with kid. So i quit my job. Now he tells me “I’m the reason you eat, i work my ass off to put food in your stomach” I started my hunger strike today because I am tired of eating from his pockets and it gets thrown back at me. But When I was the breadwinner, and If i complained like that I was called a “selfish bitch for letting his mom and sisters starve”
Does he keep you away from friends and family? Being isolated by your SO can be a sign of abuse too. I'm sorry you're experiencing this.
keeps calling me a whore infront of our child. Because a guy sent an unsolicited picture to my Snapchat. BF saw it and non-stop has been calling me a hoe/whore. But BF has been talking to his exes on snapchat asking them for nudes.... and Even when i politely asked for him to stop talking me like that infront of my child he said he didnt “give a fuck because he can do what he wants”
