Baby screaming on hungry
My baby is almost 3 weeks old and exclusively breast. I feed my baby on demand. He is nursing almost every hour and sometimes even less than an hour.
Even though i fed him for 20 minutes half an hour ago still he would scream and wants more as if he was never given any.
I know for a fact that he is feeding fine as he has many wet and dirty diapers and gaining weight as recommended.
Why would he not be satiated?
This sounds a lot like cluster feeding. It's very natural and it's the baby and bodies way of upping your supply, i believe due to growth spurts. It's been a while since I fed my son but I'm sure it starts the first time between 3-6 weeks old. Its worth looking up for a better understanding as it will make it easier for you. I also found an app called Wonder Weeks very helpful as it can give you a rough idea when/what ages to expect things like this and developmental leaps which can cause fussy periods too and why
