Micro discectomy

Hoping this reaches someone. I had a micro discectomy 8 days ago. The first couple days where painful but then I was actually pretty good. Today my entire back is aching like it’s so painful and I have hip pain on the side I got the disc shaved. Has anyone experienced this? I know pain/discomfort is expected but it’s just because I felt pretty good to know not feeling great and I’m worried.
