Military Hospital or Outside Hospital?
I am currently pregnant with our 2nd baby. Im only a few weeks. They asked me if I wanted to go to the base hospital or civilian hospital. I initially picked the civilian hospital but I have a bad taste in my mouth with the hospital I would have to go to when my daughter had to be admitted into the hospital due to a febrile seizure. I also like how on top of things the base clinics and hospitals are. Im so new to this. My daughter was born in 2021 before my husband was in the military. Any thoughts?

I think it depends on where you are. We are in Guam and I was back stateside visiting and decided to stay until my second was born because my OB care was so good with a civilian doctor.

I would see if there’s any Facebook groups for your base and ask moms. Each hospital is different. I hated the way I was treated at the naval hospital where we are so I went to a free standing birth center in town.
