Hysteroscopy

Edit to add: I think I’m going to have to reschedule.. my period absolutely hates me🙄 Has anyone had a hysteroscopy before? What do I need to expect? I am having one done this Friday!

It was quite painful in my opinion. If allowed, I would take something before the procedure. The pain is brief but it’s def one of those moment where you wonder why anesthetic isn’t an option. However, I have heard many people getting pregnant after this naturally. Almost as though it clears it all out. Even the radiology techs said the chances increase. Good luck!

I had so much anxiety before mine but I was given pain meds and anti anxiety medication and it helped a lot, after it you will bleed a little and may have slight cramping but nothing crazy, it honestly wasn’t as bad as I thought. I think it’s true your chances for getting pregnant after this

I’m having one in 3 months. How is it afterwards, can you start trying for a baby right away? Thanks for information about the pain, in Germany I will get a narcosis.
