Long term morning sickness.

Does anyone have experience with long term morning sickness. I had what I felt to be really bad morning sickness from about 6.5/ 7 weeks. From then until around 16 weeks I struggled with all day and night sickness and struggled to keep things down (medication prescribed from the doctor didn’t help, just came back up). It started to ease around 16 weeks where I wasn’t so sick, however I’m now 32 weeks pregnant and have been sick every single day since it it started around 7 weeks. I have recently found out that I have low iron, b12, folate and feritine. My midwife has said I need to get my iron back up and if I don’t then I will be admitted to hospital to have it through Iv. I have been giving tablet form and liquid form of iron and both have made my sickness 10 times worse. Has anyone had a similar experience, I have only even known people to have morning sickness up to 12 weeks. X

Hey, this sounds like hyperemesis gravidarum. Check out Pregnancy Sickness Support on social media. They are a charity and are amazing. I know what you’re going through. I had nausea 24/7 from 5 weeks to 18 weeks. Actually rarely was physically sick but I lost over a stone in first trimester. Luckily it didn’t come back later in the pregnancy for me, but that is something they say can happen with HG. take a look at PSS xxx
